Protegic is seeking an experienced Data Analyst to join our growing Data Practice on a termed contract.

As a Data Analyst, you will work across multiple workstreams to provide actionable insights, support data-driven decisions, and ensure the quality and reliability of key datasets.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Conduct data extraction, profiling, and cleansing across multiple source systems
  • Analyse trends, patterns, and issues in large datasets to support business decisions
  • Collaborate with Business Analysts and delivery teams to define and document data requirements
  • Support the development of reports, dashboards, and visualisations using tools such as Power BI or Tableau
  • Identify data quality issues and recommend remediation approaches
  • Maintain data dictionaries, mapping documents, and traceability across systems
  • Assist in compliance and impact assessments where data plays a critical role

Required Skills & Experience

  • Proven experience in a data analyst role within a transformation, compliance, or regulatory project
  • Proficiency in Excel, SQL, and data visualisation tools (e.g. Power BI, Tableau)
  • Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams in large or complex environments
  • Ability to work independently, manage competing priorities, and communicate clearly
